With the B&M Ripper shifter, throttle coolant bypass, ported MAF body, recalibrated MAT sensor and Pro Flow+
installed, it was time to see if all the hard work would pay off.
Everything but the new MAT sensor worked great. I noticed some detonation immediately so I stopped and pulled it
out. I then reset the computer just to be safe. The B&M Ripper shifter was awesome. I didn't miss any shifts
and barely had to concentrate on getting into the right gear. As you can see, the car really improved. I got as
lot as 13.146 at 110.05 MPH and as fast as 111.52 MPH. That's a major horsepower improvement. If I find some
traction I'll easily be down in the high 12's.
The car was run in street trim starting with a half tank of gas. All shifting was done by the shift light on
the HUD. It was about seventy degrees and mildly humid outside. Traction control and ASR was off.
